The Hyundai Creta is one car that continues to strongly ride the sales chart. But due to its high sales, it also sees a long waiting period. So, you can either wait for your Creta’s delivery or you can wait for these upcoming cars that could prove to be a better option for you against the Creta. Now, what are these upcoming options? In today’s article, we will be covering these upcoming Hyundai Creta alternatives.

So to make it clear, the Scorpio-N is not a direct rival to the Creta. But it is expected to fall in a similar price category. So why is the Scorpio-N so special? The Scorpio-N is frankly a big car, its dimensions are on par with even D-segment SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner. It is also more powerful than the Creta and will even come with a 4WD system for hardcore off-roaders. Features are also expected to be abundant. So waiting for this SUV will make sense for you.

Hyundai Creta alternatives – New Maruti Brezza

The Maruti Brezza is another car that is not a direct rival to the Creta. But the new Brezza will be bringing a host of new features like a 360-degree camera, heads-up display, a new infotainment system, and more. Also, the 1.5-litre mild-hybrid engine will help it compete with Creta’s 1.5-litre naturally aspirated. With all of this, it definitely becomes an option to wait for. When is it coming? It is confirmed to come on the 30th of June.

Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder

Toyota has been working on its Creta rival with Maruti. It has confirmed that it will be unveiling the Urban Cruiser HyRyder on 1st July. Toyota recently also posted its first teaser showing its design. What about the engine options? It is expected to get a 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to both mild-hybrid and strong hybrid setups. What about features? A big infotainment system, connected car technology, sunroof, 360-degree etc. are expected to be some of them.

Like Toyota, Maruti will also be bringing its Creta rival soon. What will be different? Maruti’s Creta competition car will get a different design than the HyRyder. These will be subtle changes rather than anything major. In the interiors, the dashboard layout will be slightly tweaked. Mechanically, both the cars will be the same, sporting the same engines. Maruti is expected to unveil it sometime in July as well.

Hyundai Creta alternatives – Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus

Another Mahindra car on the list is the Bolero Neo Plus. The Neo Plus would essentially be a 9-seater version of the Bolero Neo. It will be quite bare-bones compared to Creta. So how exactly will it compete against it? It will cover that up with its strong off-roading abilities. The Bolero Neo Plus will be a good off-roader due to its ladder-on frame chassis and MTT system. Even if you don’t want that extra seats, you can use that space as the boot. When will Mahindra launch it? It is expected to enter the market in the latter half of 2022.
