Hyundai Alcazar to get a price cut?
Hyundai has had quite a year so far. The brand will be launching a sleeve of products in the second half of 2022. But before that, it is giving a price cut to the Hyundai Alcazar. So why is Hyundai cutting the price of the Alcazar? This is since Hyundai Alcazar is soon expected to get new variants. In today’s article, let’s find out.
Hyundai Alcazar new variants – New development
So is Hyundai slashing the price of the Hyundai Alcazar? Sadly, no. Hyundai is introducing a new base variant lineup. According to an RTO document, Hyundai is adding a Prestige Executive & Prestige (O) Executive variant to the Alcazar. This variant will sit below the base Prestige variant. This will come in six & seven-seater options. Hyundai might be introducing this variant to navigate through the chip shortage. Another reason could be to lower the starting price of Alcazar to attract new customers.
What will this variant miss out on?
The Prestige variant of Alcazar comes with a decent amount of features like a 10.25-inch infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, LED lighting, cruise control and TPMS. So will these features come on the Prestige Executive? We think Hyundai might give it a smaller touchscreen and remove some features to decrease the price. This less feature can lower its need for more chips.
Engine specifications
The Prestige Executive variant will come with both petrol and diesel engine options. It will come with a 2.0-litre petrol engine capable of producing 156bhp & 191Nm of torque. While the diesel unit is a 1.5-litre capable of producing 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. The Prestige Executive (O) variant will get an automatic option on the 1.5-litre diesel engine.
