We all know the popularity of Maruti cars in India. Maruti is the number one car-selling company in India with service and reliability being their strong points. However, some of their cars do lag behind in areas like comfort features, safety, etc. To rectify this, Maruti has recently updated many of its existing cars. A few cars still remain to be updated in its lineup with Maruti already working on it. In this article, we have mentioned three cars that are getting a new update soon.

New-generation Maruti Brezza

We already know that the new Maruti Brezza will soon be hitting the markets. The undisguised car has already been spotted a few times. The compact SUV now looks more sharp and modern than the current generation. Talking about the features, it would be getting many new features along with some being shared with the new Baleno. A big 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Suzukionnect, heads-up display, ventilated seats, and a 360-degree parking camera are some of the expected features. Also, it would be the first Maruti car to get a sunroof. We expect the new Brezza to be priced somewhere between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 11 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). Would you be interested if the Brezza is priced slightly higher compared to the competition?

New Maruti cars – New-generation Maruti Alto

The Maruti Alto has been a top-seller in the entry-level hatchback segment. The current Alto has been lending its services for many years now and the brand has finally decided to give it a major update. The Alto will be getting a new-generation update with the launch expected to take place this year. Talking about the update, it is expected to get an updated 0.8-litre petrol engine. We also expect the 1.0-litre petrol unit to make a comeback this time. CNG variants could continue to be on offer similar to the current car. Also, the new generation Alto might get an AMT gearbox on its top trim. We expect it to be priced between Rs 3.5 lakhs to Rs 6 lakhs for all variants (on-road, Mumbai).

New Maruti cars – New-generation Maruti Eeco

Maruti Eeco is a lone wolf in its segment. Eeco’s massive success has for long kept away competition in this segment. The Eeco was launched in 2010 and has not received any major update ever since. Now after 12 years, Maruti has decided to update it. We expect it to get a completely revamped design. Maruti might add some new features inside to give the car a fresh appeal. Currently, it gets a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. With this update, we could see it getting the 1.2-litre Dual Jet petrol engine that offers more fuel-efficiency. CNG variants are expected to continue being a part of the package since the Eeco mainly serves the commercial segment more than the passenger segment.
