The engine used in the 450 twins would be a 450cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, with a six-speed gearbox. We expect that this engine would produce power above 40bhp and torque figures above 35Nm.

Royal Enfield is adopting features that today’s generation needs. We have already seen many new features since the launch of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. We expect the same from the upcoming 450 twins. Summing up in short, Royal Enfield might give them a similar instrument cluster we see on the Meteor and Himalayan 411. Along with that, these bikes might also get safety features like dual-channel ABS, switchable ABS, and much more.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is expected to be more capable of holding highway speeds as well as rough terrains than the Himalayan 411 while the naked 450 could be purely focused on highways and managing broken roads. Both the bikes would be placed between the Himalayan 411 and the 650 twins. So, we expect that they might be priced between Rs 2.6 lakhs to Rs 2.7 lakhs (ex-showroom). We expect that Royal Enfield might launch the 450 twins by mid-2023.
