We have seen a lot of car launches in the last few months. Manufacturers on a regular basis are launching new cars or updating their current cars to take on the ever-growing competition. Tata Nexon EV Long Range
The Tata Nexon is India’s best selling electric vehicle as of today. Now, Tata is bringing a long range variant of the Nexon EV in the upcoming days. The long range variant will come with a bigger battery and will thus offer more range. The long range is expected to have a claimed range of 400km and will thus compete with next-segment cars like the 2022 ZS EV. Tata is expected to sell the long range variant and the regular variant simultaneously.
Upcoming car launches – Jeep Meridian
Jeep has already unveiled the Jeep Meridian for India. For starters, it is a refreshed seven-seater variant of the Compass. However, Jeep has given it a lot of subtle changes to differentiate both the cars. It is expected to be priced between Rs 30 lakh to 35 lakh (ex-showroom). Jeep has not revealed the exact launch date, but it is expected to see a price reveal sometime in May.
Hyundai Venue facelift
The Venue is all set to get a facelift in the upcoming months. In this facelift, it will get a design update with new bumpers and grille. It is also expected to get new features like a bigger infotainment system, ADAS, ventilated seats, etc. Hyundai will mostly launch the N Line variant of the Venue facelift as well. The car has already been spotted testing in India and thus a reveal is expected soon.
Honda City Hybrid
The City has been an iconic sedan in India. It continues to do well for the Honda brand. Honda, to continue the City’s momentum, recently unveiled the City Hybrid here. This hybrid system is a strong one and comes with two electric motors. It is expected to give the City a mileage of 26kmpl, making it the most fuel-efficient car in its segment. Honda will be revealing the price of the City Hybrid sometime in May.
Upcoming car launches – New Maruti Brezza
Another compact SUV that will be getting an update in the upcoming weeks will be the Brezza. The Brezza is one of the top-selling car in its segment. But Maruti will be giving it a host of updates to make it an even better package. It is expected to be coming with a hybrid engine & a CNG option is also expected. Maruti will also be loading it with a lot of new features.
