Mahindra Scorpio new interiors details revealed
Mahindra is a brand known for its SUVs. Earlier it was trying to enter other segments, but now it has diverted its focus completely towards its SUV lineup. The Scorpio has been Mahindra’s shining star in the SUV lineup. To continue its domination, Mahindra is giving the Scorpio a generational update. The new-generation Scorpio is spotted regularly in various parts of the country. Now we have obtained spy shots of the exterior and interior, revealing some new features of the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio.
Spotted exterior design
The heavily camouflaged car was spotted in Solang valley in Manali. It was spotted by one of our readers Chetan Polekar. Mahindra might be testing the Scorpio in high altitude locations to test its capabilities. The spotted car gets a muscular grille with rectangle-shaped headlamps. It also gets good looking alloy wheels. At the rear, we get the sideward opening door familiar from the current Scorpio.
Spotted interiors
The interiors seem to be getting a major update on the new Scorpio. The spotted car comes has a new dashboard layout with an integrated infotainment system in the middle. Below the infotainment system, there are AC controls and other knobs and buttons. We can also spot a three-spoke steering wheel and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
2022 Mahindra Scorpio interiors- Expected specifications
The new-generation Scorpio will come with both petrol and diesel engine options. It is expected to come with a 2.0-litre mStallion engine similar to the Thar. While the diesel engine is expected to be a 2.2-litre mHawk unit. Mahindra will detune this engine to keep the costs down. Both the engines will come with manual and automatic gearbox options.
