Maruti has plans to launch a lot of new products in the upcoming months. It had already launched the Celerio and now it has launched the new Baleno. Maruti has brought in a lot of changes to attract customers. It has loaded the Baleno with a lot of new features. However, Maruti has missed some features that could have made it an even better package. In today’s article, we will see what features Maruti forgot to put in the Baleno facelift.

Fully digital instrument cluster

Maruti Baleno features

Digital instruments are much easier to read than analogue instrument clusters. The Baleno comes with a analogue cluster with a multi-function display in the middle. Maruti should have given the Baleno a digital instrument cluster to go with the heads-up display.

Wireless charging

Maruti Baleno features

Carmakers have started offering wireless charging in their popular products. Maruti has missed this feature in the Baleno. Wireless charging eliminates the need for unnecessary dangling wires. It gives that clean cabin experience with no wires.

Maruti Baleno features- Sunroof

Maruti Baleno features

The Sunroof is one of the most demanded features in India. Almost all new cars come with a sunroof in their top variants. Though Maruti has been against sunroof, it is expected to offer it in the new Brezza. It should have given the new Baleno a sunroof to attract customers.

Ambient lighting

Maruti Baleno features

A cabin looks quite luxurious with a simple addition like ambient lights. It is a nifty feature that should also not cost much for manufacturers. So it is surprising that Maruti has not offered Ambient lighting in the new Baleno. In this segment, the i20 & Altroz both come with Ambient lighting.

Maruti Baleno features- Proper automatic

This is where Maruti has kind of taken a backward step in the Baleno. The Baleno earlier used to come with a proper automatic in the form of a CVT gearbox. But now, Maruti has replaced this CVT gearbox with an AMT gearbox. AMT gearboxes are quite laggy and jerky. Maruti has missed the trick by removing the proper automatic and no paddle shifters.
