Maruti Baleno real-life interior images out!
The hatchback segment is quite popular in India. Maruti dominates this segment, with its Baleno being the premium hatchback player. Since its launch in 2015, it has only gotten one facelift. So Maruti, for now, wants to give it another facelift before it brings its new generation. Maruti is launching the new Baleno on the 23rd of February. We have received new real-life images of the interior, just a day before the launch. In today’s article, we will take a look at the new Maruti Baleno images.
What do the images reveal?
We already know the Balneo is coming with a host of new features like a heads-up display, a new SmarPlay Pro+ infotainment system, a 360 view camera and Arkamys surround sound system. But we have images of these features in action. The heads-up display looks quite up-market. Also, the floating infotainment system comes with improved UI and crisp display quality. The 360 view camera also looks smooth and provides a good amount of detail.
What else can we expect?
The new Baleno is getting a lot of subtle changes. It is getting a new grille, new headlamps and updated bumpers. Other exterior changes include new tail lamps, a new rear bumper and new alloy wheels. Maruti is claiming that it has used higher grade steel in the chassis. Some of the other features include six airbags, an improved connected car tech, etc.
Maruti Baleno images – Engine specifications
As this is a facelift, it will carry the same engine options as the current model. It will come with a 1.2-litre engine and a 1.2-litre DualJet engine. Both engines will come with a manual gearbox. However Maruti is now replacing the CVT gearbox with an AMT gearbox on the new Baleno.
