New-generation Ford Endeavour OFFICIALLY teased!

Ford is famous for its big cars and SUVs all around the world. Recently it launched the Ranger in the European market. We had recently obtained spy shots of the new-generation Endeavour in testing. Now, Ford Australia has put a teaser video of the new-generation Everest, what the Endeavour is called outside India. In today’s article, we will have a look at what all information can be taken from the teased new-generation Ford Endeavour.

What has been teased?

Ford has put a teaser video of Everest. In the teaser, the car is heavily camouflaged, but we can spot a lot of design changes. The teaser confirms that the Endeavour will take a lot of design cues from the new Ranger. Dimensions-wise, the new-generation seems to be bigger than the current-generation SUV. At the front, it gets C-shaped LED DRLs with LED headlamps integrated into them. The big grille is divided by a chrome strip running through the middle. The side profile is identical to the current generation however the edges have been sharpened to give the car a muscular appeal. At the rear, inverted L-shaped LED tail lamps have been used. Other exterior highlights include roof rails, upright pillars, a muscular bonnet, a roof-mounted spoiler and a panoramic sunroof. 

What else is expected?

Ford is also expected to give the interiors a major revamp. It will get a modern dashboard layout with rectangular AC vents. Features will include an electric parking brake, a 10/12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera and connected car tech. It will also get a host of safety aids in its ADAS system.

New-generation Endeavour India launch

Though Ford has wrapped up its production in India, it is not quitting the Indian market completely. It will be bringing cars through the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route. The new-generation Endeavour is expected to be one of the CBU cars that Ford will launch in India. As it will come through the CBU route, it will be considerably more expensive than the model that was available in India until now. Ford will do a global unveiling of the new-generation Endeavour in 2022 after which we can expect the India launch.
