Tata is expanding at a rapid pace in the Indian market. It has cars in almost all the segments and all cars have been raking in good sales. But Tata is looking to continue its momentum. It is looking to improve the Tiago. It is making it an even better value proposition by bringing a CNG engine. In today’s article, we will see this new Tata hatchback to reduce running costs.

Why will Tata bring a CNG engine?

Currently, Maruti and Hyundai are the only manufacturers offering factory-fitted CNG in their cars. The rising fuel prices have also increased the demand for CNG cars. Tata is looking to capitalise on this growth by launching its own CNG cars. The first car to get this CNG treatment will be the Tiago hatchback. This car will help Tata to gauge the demand for CNG vehicles and accordingly launch its other cars with a CNG.

Design

There won’t be any major exterior changes on the Tiago CNG. However, the car will have a better-tuned suspension to carry the extra load from the CNG tank. Also, the CNG tank will occupy most of the boot space. People buying the Tiago CNG should keep this in mind as boot space will not be able to carry any luggage.
