2022 Mahindra Thar to get more features
The lifestyle SUV segment continues to expand at a rapid pace. The Mahindra Thar is the main reason behind this growth. But with the launch of the Force Gurkha and the upcoming Jimny, it is going to face some stiff competition. To counter this, Mahindra will be updating the Thar with some features. In today’s article, we will see the new features of the 2022 Mahindra Thar.
Basic AdrenoX features
Mahindra introduced the Adrenox on the XUV700. It is a new infotainment system with a new user interface. It also comes with connected car tech integrated with the AdrenoX mobile app. Mahindra will not give the Thar full AdrenoX capabilities as it is somewhat unique for the XUV700. What Mahindra can do is give it a basic version of the AdrenoX with limited features. It will help Thar to get connected car tech that it misses out on.
2022 Mahindra Thar- Alexa compatibility
Alexa is Amazon’s virtual assistant technology. Mahindra has partnered with Amazon to provide Alexa on the XUV700. Alexa compatibility is helpful to search the internet and also do basic things in cars like opening the sunroof. Considering Mahindra is already working with Amazon, they can provide this tech on the Thar for hands-free usage.
Wireless setup
With the advancement in tech, wireless tech is getting better and more convenient. Wireless tech provides the uncluttered cabin experience, which can be useful in the Thar. Mahindra should look to provide it with both wireless charging and wireless connectivity. An uncluttered cabin will be better for off-roading.
2022 Mahindra Thar- 360-degree camera
The 360-degree camera is another nifty feature that is quite useful. It provides a lot of details of things around the car. This feature will be quite useful while off-roading on the Thar. Mahindra has used this feature on the XUV700, which can be brought on the Thar. This feature will help Thar to compete with the upcoming competition.
