Nissan to get sales BOOST with this SUV
Nissan had a tough last few years due to low sales and no inspiring products. Fortunately, Nissan was able to recover from this drought due to the Magnite. The Magnite has revived the brand in India with its affordable pricing and features. Now Nissan will be looking to carry forward this momentum. The next product from Nissan will be the facelifted Kicks. The Kicks is a decent product but is not able to compete with the Hyundai Creta And Kia Seltos. The facelifted Kicks can help it to bring good sales. In today’s article, we will see this upcoming SUV from Nissan.
Exterior design
The facelifted Kicks get some subtle changes at the front. It gets a large v-shaped grill at the front, similar to the one seen on the Magnite. It also gets a sharper LED headlights structure. The fog light is also tweaked a bit. All these changes make the front end look more aggressive and sporty. The side and rear profile look similar to the current model. The rear bumper is updated with some minor design changes.
Nissan Kicks facelifted interior design
In the interiors, it gets a redesigned dashboard and premium upholstery. It gets repositioned AC vents that are more integrated into the design. The semi-instrument cluster is also updated to display more information. The steering wheels also get new buttons to accommodate more commands. Other changes include a new infotainment panel and digital console for AC controls.
Engine specifications
As this is a facelift, we expect the current engine to be retained on this new model. Currently, it comes with two petrol engines. The first is a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine capable of producing 104bhp and 142 Nm of torque. The second engine is a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing 153bhp and 254Nm of torque. Globally Nissan is known for its hybrid engine and we can expect a hybrid engine on the facelifted Kicks. Transmission options include a manual and a CVT gearbox.
Nissan Kicks facelifted features
This segment is dominated by feature-rich cars. The facelifted Kicks is expected to get features like an 8-inch infotainment system, semi-digital instrument cluster, steering wheel with mounted controls, automatic climate control and Nissan connected car tech.
