The Scorpio was expected this year. The company has introduced a variant in the current model and we expect them to continue with the current generation car for at least this year. They have recently released a teaser about the upcoming XUV700. Mahindra has a lot of pending launches in terms of electric cars too. The Scorpio seems to be a project which will take place when the company increases their production capacity.

The Jimny is set to compete with the Thar which has also green lit production of a bigger 5 door model. The launch date of this Jeep has not been revealed. The engine will be new and there is a diesel engine expected on this small off-roader.

There would also be a diesel automatic option which might be made available.
