New Hyundai Venue – What to expect?
The Hyundai Venue has been a strong product in the compact SUV segment. Competitors like Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV500 and Kia Sonet get stiff competition from this product. The Venue however awaits an update, which could give it a further push. In this article, we will discuss the new Hyundai Venue and what we could expect from the facelift.
Exterior
The new Hyundai Venue will get an updated exterior. The bumpers and the front grille might get a redesign to give the Hyundai Venue facelift a fresh look. The headlamps and the tail-lamps are also expected to get revamped design treatment. The facelift Venue might come with new colour options as well.
Interior
The facelift of the Venue might get updated on the inside as well. The major changes might include a bigger touchscreen that we get to see on the new Creta. A fully-digital instrument cluster might also be added to the facelift. The current edition does not get a digital instrument cluster. The facelift Venue might also get HID projectors or LED reflectors like its competition.
Updated Sound System
The Hyundai Venue gets a sound system from Arkamys with front speakers & tweeters and rear speakers. The updated Venue might come with the premium BOSE music system with a subwoofer that we get to see on the new Creta. Along with the other speakers, a front central speaker might also be offered.
New options for transmission
The Hyundai Venue comes mated to a variety of transmissions with the petrol engine and a manual transmission with the diesel engine. However, the current one misses a diesel automatic which is being offered by the competition like the Kia Sonet. The new Venue might get this option as well, although, power figures are not expected to change.
New features
The Hyundai Venue facelift might get features like remote ignition and cool-seats as both these features are not on offer with the current one. These features are however being offered in the competition like the Kia Sonet. Turn by turn navigation might also be added to the facelift.
