Kia Seltos facelift to get better features than Creta

The Kia Seltos changed the game when it came to India for mid-size SUVs. It was feature rich, got bold new stying and gave one a variety of engine options. The Seltos really out performed the Creta in its initial days of launch with many new buyers flocking to get a new car from a new brand.  But with the new generation Creta, the Seltos was overshadowed by the host of features and the brand presence that Hyundai brings. So to keep up with competition, here are the updates that we expect in Kia Seltos facelift whenever it comes.

Kia Seltos facelift Design

The car won’t get major updates with most body panels remaining the same. The Kia Seltos facelift will continue to get signature tiger nose grille design. Headlights, bumpers and plastic bits could get a restyle. The car could get some added trim if the company adds variants. Kia could also add new colors to the cars. Kia currently does not offer a panoramic sunroof and that could be added. The GT trim could get some more colors and the alloy wheels will get an update and will probably still get 17-inch tyres. Overall, the Seltos is currently a great looking car and a lot does not need to change much here. The new Kia logo will be added.

The interior is where Kia will focus on the most. There will be a bigger touchscreen, more UVO features, electronic parking brake and a 360-degree camera. We could see UVO get Hindi as a language for Voice Assist. The car might get new touches in the interior. Dimensions here won’t change. In terms of engine/gearbox options there will be no changes. Same goes for safety features and the interior layout. The Kia Seltos facelift in overseas markets gets AWD, we don’t think in India it will get it.
