Coming to the most important aspect of any update – Price. The 2021 KTM Duke 125 is priced at Rs 1,50,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). This 125cc bike has officially crossed the 150cc premium commuter segment and has prowled in the base of the 250 cc segment. Now being a KTM just is not enough for the Indian audience to pay way over what the segment demands. Now the biggest hardware change is the new split trellis frame. This now accommodates a bigger pillion seat. The design is inspired by the bigger Super duke 1290. But for the Indian Audience gets as the smallest sibling of the Duke family.

The headlight gets LED daytime running lights and the same halogen light setup as on the Duke 200 and the Duke 250. Also, instrument cluster remains the old but we are soon expecting an update for the instrument cluster on the complete Duke series. It might get the LCD dash that is seen on the Adventure 250.

The Duke also has got a bigger tank which accommodates 13 litres of the tank. The weight has gone up from 148 kgs to 159 kgs. Also, the bike makes about 14 bhp of power and 12 Nm of torque. The bike still gets single-channel ABS with 300 mm disc up front and 230mm or Disc at the rear.

New Colours

There are 2 new colours – Electronic Orange & Ceramic White. These colour scheme does not include matte finishes and the bike still looks a bit plasticky. Lastly to conclude the price of the Duke 125 is exuberant at Rs 1.5 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. There are a lot of 150 cc bikes which are sporty enough to beat the duke as well as some 250 cc bike. To name some would be the new Honda Hornet which costs Rs 1.28 Ex-showroom Mumbai and also the Gixxer 250 which is just Rs 20,000 more than the Duke 125. Also Yamaha MT 15 and the Hero Xtreme are bike which looks different and sporty to compete with the Duke 125.
