KTM 250 Adventure is a bike which a lot of people are waiting to make their Diwali Purchase. There is good news as the 250 Adventure Test bike has been spotted at a dealership. This indicates that the launch is nearing and we might hear soon from KTM about the same. But till then take a look at these changes on the bike which have been spotted at the dealership.

Important Changes

LCD screen

250 Dash

The instrument cluster of the 250 Adventure bike is an LCD 2 tone display with the same outer shell. It has the same layout as the LED instrument as the colour dash. Also, the LCD screen has a positive display polarization. It does not need to have the changing LED display as the bike does not have traction control which needs a display to switch.

Rear Tyre pattern

The tyre pattern on the 250 Adventure Duke is different. The brand of manufacturers is not seen but the pattern is clearly different than the one seen on the 390 Adventure. Also, this might be owing to the thinner tyre profile and the expected usage of this bike.

Regular handlebar Switch

250 Dash2

The left side switch on the handlebar is not the joystick switch as on the 390. It gets the simple horn, passlight and indicator switch on the left. This might also indicate that there is no possibility of bluetooth connectivity.

KTM digital Dash

New headlight

Headlight

The headlight is new but it is a downgrade from the 390 Adventures. The KTM 250 Adventure Test Bike has a halogen headlight flanked by side LED lights. This might affect visibility a bit but then the bike will also cut manufaturing cost.

Launch and Price

The launch of the KTM 250 Adventure has not been announced. Nor has the bike been unveiled. Now if the bike has been arrived at dealership means that KTM will have a soft launch for this bike. Also they might want to launch this bike for Diwali. This is quite an important bike for KTM as the people who skipped the 390 for the high price tag would buy this bike as it will come with the lower price tag and almost same looks.

Lastly the price is expected to be at about Rs 2- 2.5 lakhs. At this price we expect this bike to decimate the competition in the Adventure touring segment. The perfect amount of power and price will make this bike a go to bike after the Duke 390.
