1) Warming Up Car

2) Snow Chains

 

Snow chains, or tire chains, are devices fitted to the tires of vehicles to provide maximum traction when driving through snow and ice. It is advisable to use snow chains on all the four tires of the vehicle. There are different snow chains available for every budget customer. Metal chains tend to give drivers more control but they can damage roads. You should also check the correct size of the snow chain thus avoiding standing on the road.

3) Battery Health

If your car battery’s charge is low or close to depletion, the battery has a good chance of dying off during winter. Distilled water is present inside the battery which plays a key role in the chemical reaction occurring inside. If this distilled water freezes during the reaction, it can cause permanent, irreplaceable damage to the cells.

The primary signs of battery damage are improper functioning of electrical systems. 4) Fog Lamps and Head Lamps

This green coloured liquid present in your car is a double saviour. It works to keep the engine cool during the summers, thus coolant. But the same liquid also works to keep the engine warm during winters thus also known as anti-freeze. When the temperatures reduce, the chemicals present in this liquid, ensure that the engine doesn’t freeze up and jam. Basically, this fluid works round the clock ensuring that the temperature inside the engine is always regulated and optimum. Thus you should always ensure that enough amount of liquid is present to keep your car in its best shape.
