The HTE variant comes with exterior features like Kia Signature Tiger Nose grille, Halogen headlamps, R15 steel wheels with steel wheel cover, Pole type antenna, Heartbeat taillamps, Muscular front and rear skid plates, and Rear centre Garnish.

All these features for its price make the Kia Sonet an attractive offering.

Safety and Technology

The Kia Sonet base variant comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, Rear parking sensors, and Emergency Stop Signal.

 

While these features are not much on safety, they are much better than having none.  You also get a 3.5inch Mono colour instrument cluster. No infotainment system is present in the car.

 

Aftermarket modifications can help the car make more practical. The price is quite impressive and may increase in future.

Engine and Performance

Kia Sonet HTE variant comes with a 1.2L Smartstream engine which produces a maximum power output of 81.86bhp@6000rpm and a peak torque output of 115Nm@4200rpm. The four-cylinder petrol engine comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.  It comes with a 45L fuel tank capacity and an ARAI claimed mileage of 18.5kmpl.
