Pre-Launch bookings of Honda City 2020 start in India
Honda, the global car manufacturer present in India has started collecting pre-launch bookings of the all the all-new fifth-generation Honda City. The 2020 Honda City will be launched next month in the Indian market. Honda is providing two options to pre-book the new city
- Book online from ‘Honda From Home’ portal for a token amount of Rs.5000.
- Pre-book at dealerships across the nation for Rs.21000.

When will it come to the Indian market?
Honda will sell the new car alongside the fourth generation Honda City in India. As a result, the new Honda City 2020 will only be sold in the top-spec VX and ZX variants.
What about exterior changes?
The new car will look quite different from the current generation Honda City. Both longer and wider, it will look bigger than its competition. A proper 3-box structure with a long bonnet and sedan-like boot will be offered. It will be a premium, luxury 4-door sedan like its sibling.
What about interior changes?
The interiors will be heavily changed too to entice new customers. Below are some of the expected specifications:
- Dual-tone black and beige interiors
- Redesigned dashboard and instrument cluster
- 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with AMAZON ALEXA
- Ambient lighting, cruise control, electric sunroof
- Rear sunshade, 6-airbags, ABS with EBD and TPMS
- Hill assist and LaneWatch camera

Launch and Price of Honda City pre-launch booking.
The current generation Honda City costs between Rs.10.21 to Rs.14.76 lakh. The new-generation Honda City 2020 may be priced between Rs.13 lakh to Rs.15 lakh. It will compete against Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Skoda Rapid and Hyundai Verna.
