The new Honda City comes with only two engine options but the Hyundai Verna comes with three options. The ARAI mileage of Hyundai Verna Diesel is slightly better but the Petrol mileage is the same. Torque, however, is more on the Hyundai Verna Diesel variant. The Diesel engine of the new Honda City produces a lesser power output compared to Hyundai Verna but performs better with the Petrol engine. Hyundai Verna also comes with a Turbo Petrol Engine.

BlueLink vs Alexa
Connectivity is the next big feature in both cars. The Verna comes with the Hyundai’s Bluelink connectivity and Honda for the first time in India has included Alexa in its product. The BlueLink comes with Voice Assist Dialing, Vehicle Navigation Control, Interactive Voice Recognition and 43 in-built features. Honda offers similar features too with the added capability of controlling Alexa through Amazon Echo. Both cars offer smartphone connectivity too.
