The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is a premium sedan offered by the company. It is sold through the Nexa showrooms by Maruti and is a strong product for its price range. It has also gotten the required BS6 updates in the car. The car has been giving stiff competition to the likes of the Honda City and Skoda Rapid. We explain to you all the variants in detail along with the engine and transmission options below.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz engine

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz will now only be offered with a petrol engine. It gets smart hybrid technology. Maruti cars are known to be fuel-efficient and this car is a prime example as it gives a whopping 21.5 km/l. The 1.5 K15 petrol produces 103 bhp and 138 nm of torque.

Transmission options are a five-speed manual and a four-speed CVT automatic.

Sigma

The base variant of the Ciaz does not come with the option of the automatic. It gets features such as a multi-information display (colour TFT in petrol), keyless entry, cruise control, electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear AC vents, pollen filter, front centre armrest with utility box and a rear centre armrest with cup holders, steering mounted controls. As for safety, the standard feature list includes dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear defogger, reverse parking sensor, anti-theft security system, seatbelt reminder (driver and passenger) and speed alert system. The base variant is priced at Rs 8.19 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Delta

The Delta variant in the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz comes with features like alloy wheels, driver height adjustable seat, automatic AC, front fog lamps and an electronic stability program with hill-hold in the automatic petrol variant. The Delta variant is available with an optional CVT. The manual is priced at Rs 8.80 lakhs, while the automatic variant is available for 9.80 lakhs.

Zeta

The Zeta variant gets LED projector headlamps with integrated DRLs, LED rear combination lamps and chrome door handles. As for the interior, it gets rear seat adjustable headrest, push start/stop button and electrically foldable ORVMs. The safety features include LED front fog lamps, auto day/night IRVM with camera display and reverse parking camera. The petrol manual is priced at Rs 9.57 lakhs, while the automatic variant is available for Rs 10.57 lakhs. All prices (ex-showroom).

Alpha

The Alpha variant which is the top of the line gets features such as 16-inch alloy wheels, leather seat upholstery and leather-wrapped steering wheel. It also gets a seven-inch touchscreen SmartPlay infotainment system with an inbuilt navigation system, voice command system and Mirror Link support for smartphone connectivity. The petrol manual is priced at Rs 9.97 lakhs, while the automatic variant is available for Rs 10.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

This is a sporty variant of the Ciaz. It comes with all the features that are seen on the Alpha variant along with cosmetic changes.

These changes include a blacked-out spoiler, black alloy wheels and all-black interiors. But, the Ciaz S does not get an automatic option as it is aimed at enthusiasts. This variant is priced at Rs 10.08 lakhs (ex-showroom).
