Nissan Ariya

The car gets sleek LED headlamps along with V-shaped LED DRLs. These DRLS are joining with the headlamps and the grille as well. It also gets a big grille to give the car a more dynamic look. The rear of the car will come with an LED strip that will join the tail lamps. The rear windshield is also expected to be bent and will not give the car a boxy look.

Nissan Ariya Interiors

The Ariya is also said to have a horizontal infotainment system rather than a vertical one. Nissan is of the idea that a horizontal system is safer as it keeps in line with the vision of the passenger. It will get a dual screens on the inside and the interiors will be minimalistic.

Nissan Ariya Powertrain

The car is expected to be available with front-wheel drive. It will be powered by dual electric motors as well. There are no exact specifications for this powertrain. The Ariya will also get auto-driving options that are meant for highways along with a host of advanced safety features. The battery will also get fast charging capability along with a range of at least 400 kms.

India Launch?

The Nissan Ariya is still not in production and is in the development phase. But Nissan is sure to get this car into production.

It could go into sales in global markets by 2022.

This product could also be brought in to the Indian market. Electric SUVs have seen good sales in the Indian market with the likes of the Hyundai Kona and the MG ZS EV. This car could further build the brand name of the company in the Indian market. The car does look similar to the Nissan Kicks that is offered in our market but that will only be in proportions.
