The Hyundai i20 was supposed to be unveiled at the Geneva motor show. But it got cancelled on account of the COVID-19. This has not stopped Hyundai from revealing the vehicle. Recently Hyundai launched the BS6 version of the i20 in India and also the facelifted version of the Hyundai Verna was listed online.

As the showrooms are closed we can not provide you with a first-hand look of the vehicle but we soon hope that everything gets back to normal as soon as possible. So today we are going to take a look at the Hyundai i20 interiors. Read further to know why the car is premium from inside.

Hyundai i20 Interior Design

The overall design of the Hyundai i20 Interiors is premium and contrasts the sporty look that we get on the exterior. The car gets an all-new 4 spoke steering wheel. That has been wrapped in leather and it gives it a clean and classy finish. It is very similar to the Creta steering wheel that we can see in our latest video. The dashboard gets a horizontal line divide which makes it look low slung and it goes along with the line of the steering column. The infotainment system has a floating design but does not jut out of the whole design language. It does not feel like an afterthought. Although there is no flow to the centre console and the dashboard as the dashboard harshly ends near the AC controls. The interiors of all-new Hyundai i20 Interiors are packed with a lot of premium features. We are expecting a Bose audio system. Also, the steering gets mounted controls on it. These have cruise control too. The instrument cluster is completely digital too. This gets colour indication for driving modes. The green is for eco, blue is for standard and orange is for sport.

The car also gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This system gets apple car play and Android auto too. This car also gets Hyundai Bluelink technology. These include real-time traffic updates, weather data and other features. The Car gets a wireless charging pad in front of the gear lever.

The new generation i20 also gets a push-button start-stop system. The car gets an ambient lighting system. The Hyundai i20 interiors are available in 3 different colours which are Black Mono, Black and Gray and Black Mono, and Yellow Green.

Overview

Even though all the features are expected on the vehicle this might not translate in the Indian market as it is. The car will get a 1.2 naturally aspirated petrol engine and .

15 litre diesel engine. There will also be a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. In addition to the Manual gearbox, the vehicle will also get an option of DCT. We expect the car to compete with Maruti Baleno, Tata Altroz and Honda Jazz. The Price of the vehicle is expected to start from Rs 7 lakh onwards.
