The Gixxer 155 has recently gotten the BS6 updates to its engine. Along with the BS6 upgrades it also gets some other updates to the bike such as a catalytic converter along with cosmetic changes. The Gixxer is a premium commuter bike by Suzuki and has been popular amongst the masses. It is also available in the SF variant.

The bike is powered by a 155cc single-cyclinder SOHC engine that is air-cooled. It produces 13.4bhp and 13.8Nm of torque. It is mated to a five speed unit. In perspective the earlier BS4 engine would produce 14bhp and 14 nm of torque.

BS6 Gixxer 155 features

The updated BS6 Gixxer 155 series comes with new LED headlamp and taillights, ABS, dual muffler for exhaust outlet. Also, these models come with 6-spoke alloy wheels.

Competition colour and pricing

The bike competes with the likes of the Yamaha FZS-Fi and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V that haven been launched in the BS6 guise too. The BS6 Suzuki Gixxer is available in three different colour options, including two dual-colour themes and it is priced at Rs 1.
