The Tata Nexon 2020 is going to be heavily inspired by the Nexon EV that was shown last week. While the EV will be coming next year and is going to fill space in Tata’s EV line-up, the IC engined Nexon is also going to get a wholesome update in terms of looks, features and obviously become BS6 compliant. While there is not much information on interiors we have come across the spy shots online of the exterior of the car and there are some really substantial changes. Tata Nexon 2020 How will it look?

The Tata Nexon 2020 spied in the photos shown here is going to have the same front fascia as the Nexon EV which was shown earlier this month. The dual barrel projector headlamps, new fog lamps, bigger air damps and new griller is going to look good. The side will see the addition of new alloy wheels and the Tata Nexon 2020 will be offered in more colors too. The car will get subtle changes at the rear which means we will see a new rear bumper and subtle changes to the spoiler. The taillamps will remain the same.

The car should also get some more changes that we will come to know closer to the unveil and launch of the car.

When we come to the interior, the car will get a seven-inch touch screen now.

There will be an updated instrument cluster in place and the car will also get cruise control – a feature all it’s rivals get. More importantly, the car will get smart connectivity features to compete with rivals like the Hyundai Venue. Tata might even change the upholstery of the car to give it a fresher look. The Tata Nexon 2020 will overall be subtly given these changes to enhance its overall look and ambiance.

It is a proper facelift nonetheless.

Tata Nexon 2020 BS6 engines.

Now spied with the front of the car was the rear, where we can see the car carrying some emission testing equipment. This means that the 1.5-litre diesel and 1.2-litre engine are getting updated to BS6 standards.

The car will continue to get a six-speed gearbox and an AMT gearbox for both engines.

The petrol and diesel engines coming in BS6 tune will mean that the car is going to get more expensive.

The current price of the Tata Nexon starts from Rs 6.5 lakhs to Rs 11 lakhs. With those changes and BS6 engines coming in, the prices of all variants are expected to increase substantially.
