The Hyundai Alcazar will have the best-in-segment 2760mm long wheelbase. With a longer wheelbase, the Alcazar would provide much better legroom and knee room, a crucial factor for a premium vehicle. Against it, the Safari gets a wheelbase of 2741mm and the Hector Plus gets a wheelbase of 2750mm. Moreover, the Alcazar will come powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that is capable of making 157bhp & 191Nm of torque and 113bhp & 250Nm of torque respectively. Hyundai has made the Alcazar available with both petrol & diesel engines which will be really beneficial for customers. Offering both options will surely attract customers towards the Alcazar. Also, similar to the competition, the car will come sat on 18-inch wheels.

The Alcazar is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs 13 Lakhs to Rs 23 Lakhs (on-road). The Hector Plus, on the other hand, starts at Rs 16.07 Lakhs & goes up to Rs 23.88 Lakhs (on-road Mumbai). Tata Safari starts at Rs 18.22 Lakhs and goes up to Rs 26.58 Lakhs (on-road Mumbai).
