If price is your major concern, the Renault Kiger costs a fair bit less on-road Mumbai compared to Swift. However, the top variant prices paint a very different picture. The Renault Kiger also being a makeshift SUV leads in the dimensions department. Boot Space is also much more on the Kiger compared to the Swift. However, since ancient times Swift has been known for comfort and space and the lower figures on the table above except the boot space do not make any difference in a real-world scenario.

Both the Renault Kiger and the new 2021 Maruti Swift only come with petrol engines. However, the one engine on the Kiger is turbocharged thus able to keep with the Swift in terms of performance numbers with 99bp and 160Nm of torque. Moreover, Maruti cars shine in the mileage department and the new 2021 Maruti Swift is no different. Having a bigger engine, the Swift produces better power and torque figure compared to the Kiger. The additional price on the base variant of the Swift is thus justified with the inclusion of a larger engine with better fuel efficiency. Both cars get automatic gearbox options. Features
The newly launched Renault Kiger comes with features like tri-octa LED pure vision headlamps, LED DRLs, 20.32cm floating touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone replication and 3D sound by Arkamys. Additional features on the Kiger include pm2.5 clean air filter, Auto AC and 4 airbags in the higher trim. The new 2021 Maruti Swift comes with Smart Play Studio, LED projector headlamps with DRLs, Cruise Control and Precision-cut 2-tone alloy wheels. Additional features include sporty cross mesh grille with chrome accent but misses out on fully digital instrument cluster.
