Hero Splendor+ gets 3 New Colours

Hero has launched 3 new colour option on the Splendor+. These are a result of the 3 best designs selected from the “Hero CoLabs” contest. Price

These new colours on the Hero Splendor+ Black come at a price of Rs 899 extra. The total cost of the Splendor+ is Rs. 64,470/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).  Customers can also go for the 3D logo and the rim tape for an extra of Rs 1,399. They can also just get the Splendor+black without any graphics if they wish to.

Designs

The 3 selected designs on the bike are Beetle Red, Firefly Golden and Bumble Bee Yellow. Also the base bike on which these designs have been put is completely black. Even the alloys and chain cover set is completely black.

Other Changes

Apart from the new graphics on the bike there is no other change. It uses the same 97cc BS6 compliant engine with fuel injection. This engine makes about 7 Bhp of power and 8.05 Nm of torque. The splendor+ is a light bike at 110 kg. The bike’s design remains the same design that has won the hearts of Indians over years.

Should you buy it?

Hero Splendor+ Black and Accents seems like a fair deal over the regular Splendor+. It is not overpriced and the graphic changes actually look good. Also the plain black version of the bike does have a certain appeal to it. One might also look at this bike as a project bike for a modification project.
