2019 Maruti Baleno Model Engine

The engines of the 2019 Maruti Baleno will remain the same and there will be no change in them. These are a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre diesel. Both will be offered with a five-speed manual, while the petrol will continue to have the CVT option too. The petrol engine will have great performance, complemented by the light weight of the car. The performance of the petrol engine is currently the best in its segment. The engine is highly refined and it has good power on offer too. At the same time, this engine packs in generous torque too. There will an option of the Baleno RS too which has a 1.0-litre Boosterjet engine. This will be aimed at enthusiastic drivers who like performance cars.

Maruti Baleno 2019 Diesel Engine

The Maruti Baleno diesel is a 1.3-litre unit which will produce 75bhp of power. It will get a five-speed manual gearbox. This is the very competitive engine and Maruti would like to continue with it.  With the lower weight of the car, it performs well too and is fuel efficient. There are also rumors about a new 1.5-litre diesel unit making its way into the Baleno. If so, this will replace the 1.3-litre, Fiat-sourced engine.
