Ford giving GST benefit on Ecosport, Figo and Aspire

Ford is offering discounts of up to INR 30,000 on the Ecosport.

The company is also offering discounts up to INR 10,000 to INR 25,000 on the Figo and the Aspire. These aren’t discounts. There will be a drop in the pricing of the cars when GST is applied instead of VAT. Ford is looking at passing the benefit to the buyers and even looking at enhancing their sales with this.

Once GST is applied these will be some benefits on new cars and this is what the company is passing on. At the moment, even Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi are passing on the GST benefits before as they are looking at boosting their sales numbers. As many buyers will be waiting for the prices to fall, some of the companies want to continue with their sales. Recently, Ford had introduced the Figo Sport and the Aspire Sport. These have undergone minor changes in their design and they offer good enough updates making it look different from the conventional version. All the three vehicles come with a 1.5-litre petrol engine with six-speed dual clutch transmission, 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 100bhp of power.

The Figo and Aspire also get a 1.2-litre petrol engine and the Ecosport even has a 1.0-litre Ecoboost petrol engine as well on offer.
