Compact SUV

Upcoming Skoda SUVs

Skoda’s most important product is the upcoming Nexon rival. The car has been spotted testing a few times, revealing some exterior and interior bits. On the exterior, we have a traditional Skoda grille with the spilt DRL and LED headlamps setup. The rear tail lamp design is very similar to the Kushaq. We can see a tweaked bumper and sloping rear windshield. Powering the compact SUV will be the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing 113bhp and 178Nm of torque. Transmission options should include a manual and an automatic gearbox. Feature-wise, it is expected to come with a 360-degree camera, ambient lighting and more. Skoda has confirmed that it plans to launch this SUV by March 2025.

Upcoming Skoda SUVs – New-gen Kodiaq

Upcoming Skoda SUVs

Skoda unveiled the new-gen Kodiaq last year and it is expected to come to Indian shores by the end of 2024. This new-gen model has grown in size as it is 61mm longer than the outgoing model. Design-wise, the Kodiaq continues with the traditional Skoda grille. Skoda has also joined the connected tail lamp trend with the Kodiaq. Jumping into the interiors, we have a new dashboard layout and a 12.9-inch infotainment screen. Other features include a digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof and more. In India, we can expect only a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that powers the current Kodiaq. Skoda could launch the new Kodiaq by the end of 2024.

Enyaq

Upcoming Skoda SUVs

Lastly, we have the Enyaq iV, which is going to be the brand’s first electric car in India. Skoda has been testing the car in India for some time and the launch is expected before the end of 2024. The Enyaq comes with a traditional Skoda grille, but some tweaks to give it a modern look. In India, we could see the ‘80x’ variant which is the top-end model with all the bells and whistles. Globally, this variant comes with a 77kWh battery pack giving it a claimed range of 513km (WLTP). Feature-wise, the Enyaq comes with a 13-inch infotainment system with soft-touch materials, leather upholstery, an all-digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, and more. The Enyaq is expected to be priced from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 60 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
