Maruti Electric SUV – Maruti eVX

Maruti is currently launching SUVs equipped with petrol and hybrid powertrains. However, the brand will soon launch its first electric SUV, the Maruti eVX. We have seen the SUV at the Auto Expo 2023 and even spotted the SUV on multiple occasions. Some of the spy shots of the Maruti eVX, the SUV was spotted with ADAS hardware. And it was not just camera based ADAS but was seen with a radar. So this confirms that the Maruti eVX will be the first Maruti car to get ADAS.

Interior & Features

Other than ADAS, we were also able to spot the 360-degree camera setup. Also, in a recent instance, we were able to spot the interior of the Maruti eVX. A few months back, Maruti had revealed the concept of eVX interior and the spy shots showcased the similarities between the two. What immediately caught our attention was the large touchscreen system which could be as big as a 12-inch unit. Apart from that, we can also see the flat bottom steering wheel, dual-connected screen, black & brown upholstery, rotary gear selector, dash cam, electronic parking brake with auto hold, wireless charging, and proper armrest.

Maruti Electric SUV – Launch & Price

Earlier, the eVX was expected by the end of 2024, but Maruti is facing some software challenges that could delay the launch. Due to this delay, the launch is now expected by March 2025. Talking about the expected price range, the Maruti eVX could be priced between Rs 21 lakh to Rs 27 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

New Maruti Swift Coming

What’s coming new and early for Maruti fans is the new Swift. It is said that Maruti is all set to launch the new gen Maruti Swift in May 2024. The hatchback will be loaded with features and will also get a unique, first in segment feature.
