Rs 14 Lakh SUV To Get Segment First Features!
For the last few months, this SUV has excited all of us. Set to be all new SUV, this car will not have any direct competitors. Well, we are talking about the all new Kia Clavis which is set to launch in the coming months. We have received a few spy shots which revealed the exterior styling of the SUV. Now in a recent instance, new spy shots have surfaced online which show some exclusive features!

Kia Clavis – New Spy Shots
The Kia Clavis has been spotted in Hyderabad which has revealed new features. Upfront, we can see the headlamp setup but what grabbed the attention is the black element on the front grille. The black elements could likely be the radar for the ADAS system. Kia already has the technology which can be seen on the Kia Seltos and the Kia Sonet. However, the radar confirms that the Clavis will get Level-2 ADAS with the features from the Seltos. Another such exclusive feature the Clavis will possibly get is the panoramic sunroof! Kia India wants to position the Clavis above the Sonet and so the Clavis will offer more features than the Sonet.
The video also revealed features like automatic LED headlamps and LED fog lamps. The LED DRLs can also be seen which looks something similar to the upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO. Apart from that, the Kia Clavis will have features like rain sensing wipers, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, 12 parking sensors (6 at the front & 6 at the rear), flush door handles, and more.

As a product
Kia India is looking to open an all new segment with the Clavis SUV. It will be sporting a unique design with rugged exterior. We could see black plastic claddings around the SUV for a macho appeal. Interestingly, it will be a sub-4 meter SUV like the Sonet, but will offer more space in the second row. Apart from that, the Clavis will likely come with Sonet’s 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine and it could also come in EV avatar. The EV version should come with a claimed range of up to 450kms.

Kia Clavis – Launch & Price
The Clavis is expected to be unveiled by the end of 2024 or sometime next year. Kia is first expected to launch the petrol/diesel version followed by the EV version a few months later. It remains to be seen if Kia launches the hybrid with the ICE options or later. Pricing-wise, the Clavis is expected to start from Rs 14 lakh and go to Rs 26 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
