Car Safety Features – 6-Airbags

Car Safety Features - 6-Airbags

Although many automakers are offering 6-Airbags as a standard feature, a few of them simply do not. For instance, Hyundai started the campaign ‘6 Hai Toh Safe Hai’, wherein the brand is offering 6-Airbags in all its cars. Whereas other brands have reserved it only for the top-spec variants of their SUVs while completely skipping it in the entry level segment. So with upcoming expressways and a speed limit of 120kmph, the government should standardise 6-Airbags in India.

Another such important safety feature is blind spot detection. Now as the name suggests, blind spot detection alerts you every time if there is any vehicle in your blind spot – which is not visible through ORVMs. This feature helps to reduce car crashes to a great extent as you can change lanes more carefully.

Car Safety Features - Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

Finally, the TPMS, a safety feature which has something to do with the car tyres as they are the ones who take you from one place to another. Now we all know that maintaining the appropriate amount of tyre pressure is very important. If the air pressure is less, there are chances of losing stability on high speeds and around the corners. Whereas if the air pressure is in excess, you can even face the risk of tyre burst, which can prove fatal at times. So to counter such problems, TPMS should be included as a standard feature as it helps you to gauge the air pressure and maintain the right amount of pressure.
