The spied car doesn’t sport the usual camouflaged look. Instead, it seems to be heading for the dealership yard looking at the protective white cover. We can see the new inverted C-shaped tail lamps, new alloy wheels and new rear bumpers. Overall the side profile looks more or less similar to the outgoing model.

At the front, we expect a new front design with XUV700-like DRLs. Mahindra seems to have also tweaked the grille and air dam design. Talking about the interiors, we can expect a new dashboard layout with a floating infotainment system. This infotainment system will come with an XUV700-like infotainment system with Adrenox Ui. Our sources have stated that Mahindra has increased the boot space in the facelifted model. In terms of features, it could get a digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof and a premium sound system.

Specifications

The Mahindra XUV300 is expected to continue with the same specifications. So, we will continue to see the two turbo petrol engine options. Currently, both come with a manual and an AMT gearbox. Hopefully, Mahindra offers a proper automatic gearbox on the facelifted model. Diesel duties will be handled by a 1.5-litre engine with 115bhp and 300Nm torque.

This spy shot furthers the possibility that Mahindra could launch the facelifted model in this month. We could see the launch in the next couple of weeks. What about the pricing? Currently, the pricing of the XUV300 starts from Rs 9.39 lakh and goes to Rs 17.79 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). With the facelift, we can expect a hike of Rs 50k to 60k, depending upon the variants.
