Kia Seltos Automatic Now Cheaper By Rs 1.75 Lakh

Almost a year after the launch of the Kia Seltos facelift, Kia India has launched two new variants of the Seltos. Earlier, the SUV was offered with an automatic variant starting from Rs 19.59 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). However, with the new variants, the automatic variant of the Seltos is now cheaper by Rs 1.75 lakh. So what are these variants and how much do they cost?

New Kia Seltos – New Variants & Pricing 

Talking about the variants and pricing, Kia has introduced automatic transmission options for the second base HTK+ variants. The addition has been done to both petrol and diesel engine options of Sletos. In terms of pricing, the HTK+ Petrol CVT has been priced at Rs 17.83 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) and the HTK+ Diesel automatic has been priced at Rs 19.91 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). So with the introduction of two new variants, buying a Sletos automatic is now more affordable than before.

Engine Specifications

The engine specifications however remain unchanged. It continues to get the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which produces 113bhp and 144Nm of peak torque. The other engine option is the 1.5-litre diesel which is capable of producing 114bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. Along with these two engine options, the HTK+ is also available with a more powerful, 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine.

New Kia Seltos – Features

Apart from the new transmission options, the feature list of the HTK+ is the same as before. It gets features like – 8.0-inch touchscreen system, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, rear wiper washer, steering mounted controls, LED DRLs, halogen projector headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, and a few more.
