Toyota Innova Hycross

According to reports, Toyota is gearing up to introduce a new GX(O) variant, which will sit above the current GX variant. The GX(O) variant will come with 7 and 8-seater options. Talking about additions in this variant over GX, it comes with automatic climate control, rear defogger, rear sunshade, 10.1-inch infotainment system, front parking sensors, 360-degree camera, LED fog lamps, etc. 

Toyota Innova Hycross – Specifications

The non-hybrid Innova Hycross comes with a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine capable of producing 172bhp and 209Nm. This engine is paired with a conventional CVT gearbox. In the hybrid spec, we have the same engine producing 184bhp and 188Nm of torque. It comes paired with an e-CVT gearbox. The pure petrol model delivers a claimed range of 16.13kmpl, while the hybrid model delivers a claimed range of 23.24kmp.

Expected pricing

Currently, the Innova Hycross non-hybrid come in G and GX variants. The Innova Hycross GX trim starts from Rs 23.61 lakh and goes to Rs 23.67 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). So, the GX(O) could be priced around Rs 25 lakh to Rs 26 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). This new GX(O) variant could be perfect for a lot of buyers who need the features but don’t want to spend more for the hybrid technology.
