Spy shots

New Mahindra XUV300

The spy shots were sent to us by one of our readers, Amit Pandey. In this, we get a sneak peek into the interiors from the rear windshield of the car. We can see the XUV700-like infotainment system with Adrenox Ui. The overall dashboard layout seems similar to the XUV400. According to our sources, Mahindra has increased the boot space in the facelift and spy shots seem to confirm this possibility.

The exterior is expected to get a new front look with C-shaped DRLs and LED headlamps. Other exterior changes include connected tail lamps, new alloy wheels, and roof rails. In terms of features, it could get a digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof and a premium sound system.

Specifications

As it is only a facelift, we don’t expect Mahindra to tinker much with the engine specifications. Firstly, we have the 1.2-litre TGDi turbo petrol engine on offer which produces 128bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. The second petrol engine is a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine producing 109bhp and 200Nm of torque. Hopefully, Mahindra offers a proper automatic gearbox at least once on this petrol engine. Diesel duties will be handled by a 1.5-litre engine with 115bhp and 300Nm torque.
