Fortunately, we have some clear images of the interior of the XUV300. The dashboard was partially covered but we do have some hints at the new design elements. Firstly, the upcoming XUV300 will likely get an XUV700-like steering wheel. Also, we are expecting a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen system along with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Engine and transmission

The engine options for the new XUV300 is likely to remain unchanged. It will continue with the same 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine producing 109bhp and 200Nm of torque. The other option would be a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 115bhp and 300Nm torque. Both these engines are paired with a 6-speed manual and AMT transmissions. There is also a 1.2-litre TGDi engine on offer which produces 128bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. It comes mated with a sole 5-speed transmission only. However, Mahindra is likely to offer an all new 6-speed torque converter gearbox with this engine.
