Also as we mentioned, Fronx is the only Maruti today to get a turbocharged petrol engine. It gets a 1.0-litre booster jet engine which produces 99bhp and 148Nm of peak torque mated with both manual and automatic transmissions. With this power, the Maruti Fronx goes from 0 to 100 in 10.38 seconds! The second fastest is the Renault Kiger which goes from 0 to 100 in 11 seconds.

Apart from the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, Maruti Fronx is also offered with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, along with a CNG option. The 1.2-litre unit produces 88bhp and 113Nm of peak torque, mated with manual and AMT transmissions. Whereas for CNG the 1.2-litre unit produces 76bhp and 98Nm of peak torque. However you only have an option for a manual gearbox with CNG.

In terms of pricing, Maruti Fronx is priced between Rs 8.85 lakh to Rs 15.41 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Talking about the turbo petrol, the engine option is offered from the Zeta variant which is priced at Rs 12.51 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
