5 Upcoming Cars In March 2024 

We are already two months into 2024, and we have had some action in the car industry. However, February was very quiet with no major launches. That won’t be the case in March with several launches lined up. We are going to see as many as 5 new upcoming cars in March 2024. So let’s talk about all of them.

Hyundai Creta N Line

Hyundai has confirmed that it is going to launch the Creta N Line on 11th March 2024. It has also started the teaser campaign for the Sporty SUV. We already know a lot about the Creta N Line as it was spotted during its AD shoot. It is going to come with a new exterior design adding some sporty elements. The interiors of the Creta N Line are expected to come with an all-black interior with red stitching to personify the sporty theme. Under the hood, it comes with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol with specs the same as the normal Creta. One change over the Creta facelift is that we expect a manual gearbox option with the DCT gearbox. Hyundai could give it a sportier suspension, louder exhaust and better handling like it does with other N Line models. Pricing-wise, we expect the N Line to start from Rs 20 lakh and go to Rs 25.50 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Upcoming cars March 2024 – BYD Seal

BYD is gearing up to launch the Seal sedan on 5th March 2024. The Seal would be the brand’s third model in India after the Atto-3 and E6. Talking about the Seal comes with a sports car-like look. Overall the design is quite sleek and modern. On the inside, it comes with a 15.6-inch rotating infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, heated windscreen, and a heads-up display. In India, it is expected to come with an 82.5kWh battery pack, giving it a WLTP-claimed range of 570km. It will be powered by a 226bhp motor. BYD claims a 0-100kph time of 5.9 seconds. The BYD seal is expected to be launched at a starting price of Rs 53 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). 

Tata Nexon Dark Edition

Tata launched the facelifted Nexon in September last year. Now, the brand is gearing up to launch its Dark Edition model. We can expect it to come with the gloss-finished Midnight Black paint scheme along with a blacked-out treatment to all the other parts. In the interiors, we expect the same treatment. We don’t expect any changes in the feature list and specifications of the Dark edition. The Nexon Dark edition is expected to be launched by mid-March. 

Upcoming cars March 2024 – Maruti Swift/Dzire

Though not confirmed, we expect the Swift and Dzire to be launched in March. Maruti is already testing the model in India and it is just a matter of time. From the spy shots, it is clear that the model coming to India is quite similar to the one unveiled in Japan. The new Swift comes with a new grille, LED, headlamps & foglamps and blacked-out alloy wheels. The interiors come with a new dashboard layout, rectangular AC vents and new HVAC controls. Under the hood, the new Swift is expected to come with the new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine capable of producing 80bhp and 108Nm of torque. We don’t think Maruti will be bringing the hybrid setup to India as it is working on a new affordable hybrid setup. Similar changes can also be expected in the new Dzire. Both the cars could be launched by the end of March or sometime in April.
