In 2024, the brand will be trying to improve this perception with new cars and some much-needed updates to its current cars. In today’s article, let’s talk about upcoming Citroen cars in 2024.

eC3 Aircross

Upcoming Citroen cars

All Citroen cars are based on the common modular platform that supports petrol and EV vehicles. The French brand plans to bring an electric version of all its cars. In 2024, we could see the electric version of the C3 Aircross. The car is yet to be spotted in testing, but we can expect only subtle design changes over the C3 Aircross. Hopefully, Citroen will improve the interior and features of the eC3 Aircross. Battery and motor specs are not known yet, but we can expect an improvement from the C3 hatchback. The eC3 Aircross is expected to be launched by mid-2024.

C3X

Upcoming Citroen cars

Citroen will also be joining the coupe-SUV hype in 2024. Citroen is going to bring the C3X in 2024. The C3X will be more of a mid-size sedan with a fastback rear design and higher ground clearance. Citroen could market it as a coupe SUV to join the hype. From the spy shots, the C3X would get a front design similar to the C3 Aircross, but major changes would be seen at the rear with a sloping roofline. According to reports, Citroen has delayed the launch of the C3X to add more features and more premiumness to the car. This a step in the right direction as Citroen cars feel barebones. Under the hood, we expect the 1.2-litre turbo petrol on the C3X. Hopefully, the C3X gets an automatic gearbox at launch. The C3X is expected in the second half of 2024.

Upcoming Citroen cars – C3 and C3 Aircross automatic

Upcoming Citroen cars

Citroen missed a major trick by not offering an automatic gearbox at launch on the C3 and C3 Automatic. In 2023, it showcased the automatic option on the Indoensia-spec version and we think it could be heading to India in 2024. This automatic gearbox will be paired with the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing 108bhp and 190Nm of torque. Citroen will be hoping that the addition of automatics on both cars will help drive up the sales.
