The Mahindra Scorpio-N started with a bang in the market. It offered customers a good blend of modern elements with proper ruggedness. In 2024, the Scorpio will be still quite contemporary, but we do expect a model year update for it from Mahindra. In this, we could see minor feature additions and some tweaks. So, what exactly to expect from the 2024 Mahindra Scorpio-N? Let’s find out.

What to expect?

2024 Mahindra Scorpio

This will not be a facelifted model, as the Scorpio-N will have just completed two years in the market in 2024. Rather we can expect some new features that could be easily implemented by Mahindra. These new features could include third-row AC vents, auto-dimming IRVM and telescopic steering adjustment.

2024 Mahindra Scorpio – ADAS coming?

Another feature that we could expect from the 2024 Scorpio-N is ADAS. Mahindra had stated that going forward all of its cars will come with ADAS. With the XUV300 facelift rumoured to get ADAS, it would feel quite odd that the much more expensive Scorpio-N misses out on it. We may not see all the ADAS features on the Scorpio-N, but we could see important ones like forward collision warning, high beam assist, lane departure warning, etc. If ADAS is coming, we could also see a 360-degree camera coming on the 2024 Scorpio-N.

Same specifications

Being a model year change, we don’t expect any changes in the specification. The Scorpio-N should continue with its 2.0-litre petrol engine (200bhp/380Nm). This engine comes with manual and automatic gearbox options. Then we have the 2.2-litre diesel that comes in two tunes – 130bhp/300Nm and 172bhp/400Nm. Both tunes come with manual and automatic options. For hardcore off-roaders, there is also the option of 4×4 on the Scorpio-N.

2024 Mahindra Scorpio – Launch & pricing

2024 Mahindra Scorpio

This all is just speculation for now, as Mahindra is yet to confirm anything. For now, it seems to have planned an update for the XUV700 that is going to come next year. We could see the updated Scorpio-N in the second half of 2024. We could see a price hike of Rs 70k to 80k depending upon the variants. In 2024, Mahindra has plans to launch several new SUVs, including the XUV300 facelift, Thar 5-door, XUV300 EV and the XUV.e8.
