2024 Mahindra XUV700 – new features confirmed!
The launch of the new Tata Safari has spiced up things in the mid-size 7-seater space. Mahindra has been keeping a close eye on the competition and is going to react soon. The XUV700 is still quite contemporary, so Mahindra is not going to bring a full-fledged facelift. Instead, it will be a minor update with features added to the higher variants. This development has now been confirmed by the XUV700 owner manual. So let’s talk about the 2024 Mahindra XUV700.

New details
Mahindra has silently updated the owner’s manual of the XUV700 in its new “Mahindra for you” app. In this, we can see the captain seat arrangement mentioned. This confirms that the XUV700 is going to get a 6-seater variant in the update. It doesn’t mention any ventilation option in these captain seats like the Safari. However, the manual does talks about seat ventilation in the front. Another new addition is the auto-dimming IRVM, which is not present in the current model.
What more to expect?
As it is not a facelift, just a feature update, we don’t think there would be any exterior changes. In the interiors also, we don’t expect any major changes barring the new features. Under the hood, the XUV700 will continue with the 2.0-litre turbo petrol (197bhp/280Nm) and 2.2-litre diesel engine(182bhp/420Nm). Both the engines will continue with manual and automatic gearbox options.
2024 Mahindra XUV700 – Launch
Mahindra is yet to reveal anything about this update. But rumours are floating around that Mahindra is going to launch this updated XUV700 in early 2024. What about the pricing? If the above-mentioned features are offered, we can expect a price hike of Rs 30k to 40k over the AX7 variants. Currently, the pricing of AX7 starts from Rs 25 lakh and goes to Rs 32 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
