Tata is going to have a mega second half of this year. In the next few months, it is going to completely transform its SUV lineup. The Nexon will be the first car to get the update, and then we will have updates to Harrier/Safari and also the Punch EV. Now we have new spy shots of Harrier revealing new information. In today’s article, let’s talk about the new Tata Harrier front design.

The spy shots were sent to us by one of our readers, JasmeetSingh. Jumping straight into the images, we can see the new front design. The DRLs seem to be extending across the bonnet. Then, we have an upright grille and what seem to be LED projector headlamps. Tata has also changed the air dam design, making the front look fresh.

What else to know?

The side profile is expected to remain more or less similar barring the new alloy wheel design. At the rear, we could see a connected tail lamp design like the new Nexon. In the interiors, we could see a new dashboard layout with a bigger infotainment system and touch-sensitive HVAC controls. What about the specifications? Specifications-wise, the new Harrier will continue with the 2.0-litre diesel engine. The Harrier facelift is also rumoured to come with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, which Tata showcased at the Auto Expo. However, it is more likely to debut on the Curvv.

Currently, Tata is engrossed in launching the new Nexon. Tata is gearing up to launch it in mid-September. According to reports, Tata plans to launch the Harrier/Safari facelift soon after. This could mean a launch in October or at max in November. Pricing-wise, the Safari facelift could be Rs 60k to 80k, more expensive than the current top model pricing.
