Hyundai i20 N Line facelift – What to expect?
Hyundai is known for its bold approach, and it showed that with its N Line cars. In 2021, Hyundai launched the first N Line car, the i20 N Line. It got some major cosmetic changes on the normal i20. Now the i20 is expected to get a facelift, and the N Line model should also get this facelift. What will be different this time? In today’s article, let’s talk about the Hyundai i20 N Line facelift.
Exterior changes
Hyundai already launched the i20 facelift in Europe. The i20 facelift coming to India should come with similar changes and the same changes can be expected on the N Line model. We have a slightly tweaked grille and have changed the position of the Hyundai logo. On the N-Line model, it will come with the N-Line badging and chequered flag-inspired front grille. Other changes will include red highlights, twin-tip exhausts and a sporty spoiler.
Hyundai i20 NLine facelift – Interior changes
The i20 facelift that debuted in Europe doesn’t come with any major changes in the interior. In India, we can expect the same, but with some added features like ADAS, 360-degree camera etc. The same can be expected in the N Line model. Additionally, we could see a lot of red highlights like the current model. Other changes include a ‘N’ inspired three-spoke steering wheel and gear knob.
Specifications
It is just a facelift, so we don’t expect any changes to the specifications of the i20 N Line. It will continue with the 1.0-litre turbo petrol capable of producing 118bhp and 172Nm of torque. Transmission options will include six-speed iMT and seven-speed DCT gearboxes. We can expect the calibrated steering geometry and stiffer suspension for better performance.
Hyundai i20 N Line facelift – Launch
Hyundai is expected to reveal the i20 facelift by the end of this year. We think Hyundai could launch the i20 facelift before the Creta facelift which is also due. Coming to the i20 N Line facelift, we can expect Hyundai to launch it in a similar time frame to the normal i20.
