3 new Tata CNG car launched – pricing & all details
Tata is going to have a busy festive season with a lot of new cars lined up. Now Tata has started this sequence of launches by launching not one but three CNG cars. It has launched the Punch i-CNG and has also updated the Tigor and Tiago CNG with twin-cylinder technology. So what do they get and pricing? In today’s article, let’s talk about the new Tata CNG car.
Punch CNG
The Punch gets the much-needed CNG option. It gets CNG-specific features like a micro-switch, advanced single ECU, direct start in CNG mode, and thermal incident protection. Additionally, the Punch range now gets features like a voice-assisted sunroof, centre armrest, iTPMS, Xpress cool, one touch-up driver window, and USB type c- charging point. The pricing of the Punch i-CNG starts from Rs 8.75 lakh and goes to Rs 11.34 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
Tiago CNG
Tata has launched the Tiago iCNG with twin-cylinder technology. This has freed-up much-needed space in the boot. Tata hasn’t revealed the exact figure, but from the images, we can see a quite a usable boot. Other than that, the Tiago i-CNG doesn’t get anything new. Pricing-wise, the new Tiago CNG starts from Rs 7.46 lakhs and goes to Rs 9.32 lakhs. Surprisingly, Tata has only increased the price by Rs 5k compared to the earlier CNG model.
New Tata CNG cars – Tigor CNG
Joining the Tiago is its sedan sibling the Tigor. The Tigor gets a big upgrade in its boot space due to the twin-cylinder technology. Due to the extra space, Tata has also given it a 70-litre CNG tank which is the highest in the industry. This bigger tank should give the Tigor CNG more CNG range. Pricing-wise, the new Tigor CNG starts from Rs 8.84 lakhs and goes to Rs 10.15 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). Here also tata has increased the price by just Rs 5k.
