Royal Enfield’s Dominar rival in the works!

Royal Enfield is one of the most iconic bike manufacturers in the Indian market. Of late, the brand is on an aggressive bike launching spree, with bikes expected in unique segments. Currently, it is working on the Himalayan 450. This Himalayan 450 as the name suggests will come with a new 450cc engine. Royal Enfield plans to use this new engine on several new bikes. It is working on a new 450cc cruiser for its global market. In today’s article, let’s talk about this Royal Enfield 450cc super cruiser bike. 

New 450cc

According to reports, Royal Enfield is reportedly working on a new 450cc cruiser bike. This Cruiser bike could be a power Cruiser with a steep rake angle, swept-back handlebars and low seat that should offer a relaxed riding position. The leaked image also shows a tapering tail and twin exhausts. In a way, the bike looks like the Ducati Diavel.  

Specifications

Reports suggest that the K1D could be powered by the new 450cc single-cylinder engine. This engine will also power the upcoming Himalayan 450. Power-wise, the engine is expected to produce 40bhp and 45Nm of torque. Transmission duties will be handled by a 6-speed manual gearbox. 

Royal Enfield 450cc bike – Launch & rivals

There is no exact launch timeline for this bike, but it could be launched sometime in 2025. Before that, Royal Enfield plans to launch the new Bullet 350, Himalayan 450 and also some 650cc bikes. Coming back to the power cruiser, it should directly rival the Dominar 400 and also to some extent the 250.
