The Royal Enfield is one of the oldest bike manufacturers in the country. Over the years, it has made its name with the iconic thump. The major contributor to this has been the Bullet. Now Royal Enfield has tried to modernise its lineup and will soon update the Bullet. So, what will the new Bullet get? In today’s article, let’s talk about the 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet.

Launch details

2023 Royal Enfield Bullet

The launch of the Triumph and Harley Davidson has woken up Royal Enfield. It is planning to launch three new offerings in the 350cc to 400cc segment. The first of them will be the Bullet 350, internally codenamed J1B and will be launched by September this year. The other two bikes are the 450cc twins that include the Himalayan 450.

2023 Royal Enfield Bullet – Design changes

Royal Enfield could look to keep the overall silhouette of the new Bullet similar to the current model. Royal Enfield knows that this design has worked and wouldn’t want to tinker much with it. However, the new one will be updated with some design elements borrowed from the Classic. Also, with the new J-series platform, we can expect better refinement and controlled vibrations on the Bullet.

Specifications

The new Bullet will come with the new J-series engine. This engine is a 346cc, liquid-cooled engine that also powers the Meteor. Power-wise, this engine is capable of producing 20bhp & 27Nm of torque. We can expect similar specifications on the new Bullet. We think Royal Enfield could tune the engine to produce that iconic thump of the Bullet.

The new Bullet 350 could come with some new features. We can expect a new instrument cluster similar to the one offered on the Classic 350. Other than that, we could see traditional telescopic forks, single-channel ABS and all-disc brakes. What else can it get? The bike could get an updated instrument console equipped with the brand’s tripper navigation and upgraded switchgear.
